Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why did Triangle Transit move the Regional Transit Center?
A: Park Center had been the site of our Regional Transit Center (RTC) for more than a decade. The landlord of the property decided not to renew the lease with us, and so a move to a new location was required.
Q: Were other sites in the Research Triangle Park explored as new locations for the RTC?
A: Triangle Transit extensively researched other locations within and adjacent to the Park for a replacement site. None were found to be suitable.
Q: When Triangle Transit opens the new RTC in Imperial Center, what can I expect?
A: Bus routes and schedules have been adjusted and new schedules are in effect.
